Roland VQD106 Quiet Design Digital Drum Kit Standard Package

The perfect solution for apartments or where the most discrete playing experience is required. With up to a 75% reduction in acoustic volume, the Roland VQD106 is a game changer in digital drum technology.

Review from Barry Mills - Spears Product Specialist
When mesh drum heads first appeared it was a revolution, not least because it opened up the ability to use brushes as well as offering a vast reduction in volume compared to rubber pads. I've never heard anything like it - the VQD-106 (when compared to the TD17KVX) is dramatically quieter. In fact, Roland claim a 30% reduction compared with the TD17KVX2, and 75% quieter than traditional rubber pads. This makes practice in the house or small apartments far more viable than before, without requiring any modification or sound deadening.
Sound-wise, the VQD106 kit includes the fantastic TD07 module with phenominally detailed samples and user friendliness. It's a brilliant package and guaranteed to be a roaring success!

Newly developed and innovative pad design
Continuing on from the immense success of the mesh V-Drum technology, the new Quiet Design pads are centred around a new rubber honeycombed construction with a mesh layer. This is built into a pad frame which has holes in, allowing the air to escape. The new PDQ8S snare pad incorporates a floating system which is designed to reduce noise and vibrations.
The KDQ8 Kick Pad comprises 8-layers of the hexagonol shock absorbing rubber with various degrees of firmness. This, in conjunction with the new KDBQ Quiet Beater ensures that noise is kept to the absolute minimum. The cymbals also include the Quiet Design honeycombed rubber design and their very own mesh head construction.

Newly developed Stand to further reduce acoustic noise
The Roland VQD106 Kit now includes a newly designed rack configuration which includes new feet. These 'shoes' provide additional shock absorbtion created from the kit, further reducing the overall playing volume of the kit during use. Furthermore, the VQD106 kit includes a Noise Isolation pad for both the Hi-Hat and Bass Pedal for shock absorbtion.

Included Roland TD07 Module
The VQD106 Quiet Design kit incorporates the fantastic Roland TD07 Module. This is packed with a huge array of exceptional quality sounds, bluetooth connectivity and fun coaching features to help you to develop your drum skills and timing. You can also stream music from your phone and play along to your favourite songs.
