If, however, you’re looking for something a little more humble, the Yamaha F310 Mk11 Acoustic Guitar is an amazing guitar for beginners, as it is designed to be more comfortable for long-term playing with a slim neck and smaller size.

If it’s a drum kit you’re after, we offer a range of Yamaha digital drum kits to suit every musician’s needs. It delivers the reliability and performance you’d expect from a top Yamaha instrument. If you’re looking for something more straightforward, the Yamaha DTX402K digital drum kit is an excellent first kit, bringing things back to basics with a customisable, portable design and built-in training functions to help players develop their skills.

FAQs

Are Yamaha digital drum kits suitable for home use?

Yes! Yamaha is known for its versatility when it comes to designing their products, and their digital drum kits are no different. Many Yamaha kits are designed with quiet practice in mind, making them great for home setups without disturbing others. For example, the DTX6KX kit features Yamaha’s exclusive Textured Cellular Silicone pads that offer quiet but responsive playing, so the sound quality is not compromised.

What makes Yamaha headphones good for studio work?

Yamaha headphones are great for studio use because they give you a clear sound, making it easier to hear the details in your music. They're comfortable to wear for long sessions, block out background noise, and are built to last, so you can rely on them whether you’re recording, mixing, or just enjoying high-quality audio. Our range of Yamaha headphones offers an open-air design with ventilation to ensure air moves freely and gives you that natural, spacious sound, as they are built to replicate the sound from a digital instrument. The HPH150 headphone, for example, has a large 40-mm diameter with an open-ear design which ensures comfortable listening for long studio sessions.

What types of Yamaha headphones are available?

We currently only stock four different types of Yamaha headphones. The HPH50 are our most budget-friendly option at only £34, followed by the HPH100 at £50 and the HPH150 for £75. These models are excellent choices for listening to digital instruments, offering clear tonal projection and crisp sound, making them ideal headphones for keyboards or electric pianos. We also offer some Yamaha wireless headphones that are perfect for pairing with your phone or device over Bluetooth to play over a backing track.

Do Yamaha headphones work with mobile devices?

Many Yamaha headphones work well with mobile devices. For example, the WL500 wireless headphones connect easily to your phone via Bluetooth, letting you play backing tracks or follow tutorials while you practise. They’re also designed for low-latency performance, keeping your audio clear and perfectly in sync so you can focus on playing without distraction.
