Engineered for Superior Sound Quality Unlike ordinary small, battery-powered guitar amps that deliver mediocre sound, the Katana-Mini offers a rich, full tone that will keep you playing for hours. BOSS's meticulous design process features a custom speaker, advanced hardware, refined circuitry, and carefully selected components, all contributing to exceptional sound in a compact form. Drawing on decades of BOSS’s expertise in energy-efficient design, this amp delivers impressive power and punch with just six AA batteries.

Inspiring Tones, Ready to Rock
The Katana-Mini boasts an all-analog input circuit with multiple gain stages, delivering three classic sound settings. This cascading gain approach, akin to high-end amp designs, ensures satisfying tone and a responsive feel, with distortion easily controlled by input volume and picking strength. Inspired by BOSS's flagship Waza amp, the Katana-Mini's Brown setting provides rich, high-gain tones with harmonics perfect for heavy riffs and soaring solos. The Crunch setting offers overdrive ideal for rock rhythms and bluesy leads, while Clean delivers crisp, sparkling tones with punchy dynamic response.

Analog Tone Stack and Onboard Delay
Unlike the limited EQs in other small amps, the Katana-Mini features a genuine three-band analog tone stack for natural sound shaping with bass, mid, and treble controls, similar to a full-size stage amp. Additionally, the amp includes a cool tape-style delay, allowing you to enhance your sound with the dedicated time and level knobs, offering everything from subtle reverb-like ambience to long, warm delay repeats.

Jam at Home or Grab and Go
With its advanced yet compact design, the Katana-Mini offers serious guitar tone anytime, anywhere. Weighing under three pounds, it fits easily on a tabletop or shelf at home. The integrated handle and battery operation make it convenient to take and play anywhere, indoors or out. The aux input allows you to plug in your smartphone and jam along with your personal music library or streamed tracks. For private practice and recording, the phones/recording output features special cabinet voicing for a real mic'd amp tone.
