- Updated bridges and tremolos on guitars — refined for better performance and feel
- Updated body radii — bodies now have the exact same curves as their vintage USA-made predecessors
- Alnico pickups — very touch-sensitive, with more clarity and detail
- Classic Fender logo for a vintage look
- Many new colors to choose from

Here we have Nasar over at our Bolton store reviewing the Fender Player Series Stratocaster.
And below, we have a review from Tom over at our Bolton store for the Fender Player Telecaster.
“Coming with the brand new player series range from Fender is the new and improved Telecaster range. They have taken over the Fender Telecaster Mexican standard range to make way for these bigger and better sounding variants. The brand new player series pickups play a huge part in this, the newly designed pickups replicate that authentic fender tone with a slight edge, and they keep one foot in the past while looking into the future. The bent steel bridge saddles add a pleasant zing to your sound. The modern, custom C shaped neck profile, along with the RADII body shape which is to the original speculations allow a comfortable playing style with exceptional performance capabilities. There is an extra fret now allowing you to bend your highest D up to and E allowing four octaves of musical possibilities. We have these stunning guitars here at Rimmers in Bolton for you to come and play today.”
