Faith Guitars

Faith Guitars, founded in 2002 is a small team of passionate guitar experts, Faith is made only of solid tonewood in their Indonesian workshops. The most important part of an acoustic guitar is the top as this is essentially what shapes the instruments primary voice, as you can imagine the better the quality, the better the sound and projection. Faith guitars will either be made of solid spruce, cedar, mahogany or trembesi.

Although we say the top of the guitar is incredibly important, that’s not to say that the back and sides aren’t either. Solid timber is used as the material for this.

Each guitar has its own personal character that sets them apart from each other. Rosewood delivers brilliant highs and rich bass, mahogany will be stronger on the midranges and Trembesi sits nicely in the middle of the two.

Featuring ‘AAA’ Solid Indonesian Trembesi wood for the spruce top, back and sides, this guitar sounds warm, full and rich. On Tonality alone, the Faith Bloodmoon is worth every penny, the gorgeous gloss finish is an absolute bonus.

Upon placing your hands on the guitar, you will notice the quality immediately as it feels comfortable and easy to play, with a seductive Macassan Ebony fingerboard, and low action. The cutaway design also allows easy access to the upper registry of frets allowing for a more versatile instrument.

The guitar also boasts and stylish Fishman INK onboard pre-amp, allowing you to further craft your sound when playing plugged into an amp or PA system.

Faith FKV Naked Venus

“Here we have another Faith guitar new to the Blackburn store, this time with an even more accessible price point!

The Faith Naked Venus has a wonderfully simple design ethic. It’s all about the tone. If it isn’t needed, the FKV doesn’t have it. The woods are of high-quality Spruce and Mahogany, but without the glossy, polished surface, instead opting for a more raw feeling satin finish. Although this may seem like a step backwards on a guitar of this calibre, having this finish allows the body to ‘breathe’

The tone of the guitar is totally uncompromised.  Full of warmth and character, the acoustic tonality is further bolstered by the Shadow Performer Preamp, which is smooth and unobtrusive, ergonomically designed to not get in the way. The neck is smooth and fast under your fingers, with the Macassan Ebony fretboard adding even more character and a shade of darkness to the instrument.
